It’s quite normal for us to be booked for wedding photography in Liverpool city centre, or we often find ourselves in one of the many stunning wedding venue’s across the Wirral also. When we were booked by Helen & Lee for their wedding at Abbey House Hotel, it was a bit further a field than the norm, but I’m quite happy to cover any venue in the UK and even abroad. Their wedding photography began with the bridal preparations at Abbey House Hotel. Bridal preparations are usually quite exciting for everyone and then the final 30 minutes before the ceremony it all goes a little crazy. Helen was steady and smiling with happiness throughout with the odd glimmer of last minute nerves.
Bridal preparations are where we get to capture some of the intricate details of the day, the wedding dress being the main focus and all the accessories also. It’s nice to capture some natural moments of the final preparations also.
Helen helps her bridesmaids get ready for the ceremony and I take a natural light photo at the window. I love the black and white finish to these images and it’s such a nice, real moment.
Capturing those natural moments from a different perspective will be great to look back on for our bride and groom. They won’t have seen this moment during the ceremony but it’s captured for them.
A high photo looking down on the wedding group on a bright wedding day at Abbey House Hotel.
After the formal photo’s are over, it’s time for our bride and groom to have a few moments of their own. We always take a few portrait photographs but it’s a nice time for our bride and groom to just have a moment and be with each other. The best photo’s come naturally this way.
When it comes to wedding cakes, this has to be one of our favourites. Stunning detail and a unique design.
The photo of the boys, being boys. A great moment to look back on.
To end our wedding photography at Abbey House Hotel, we took our Bride and Groom for a walk around the grounds to capture some stunning photographs at this amazing wedding venue.
A beautiful day all around, and a happy bride and groom.
