Are all the images on the CD copyright free?

You can freely print the images, copy them, share them and enjoy them, they are yours to own. However you cannot sell the images or publish them in any form of media such as newspapers, magazines, online articles. You cannot claim them as your own work and the Copyright remains with Chris Hickey Photography you simply have permission to use them for personal use as above.


What quality are the images on the CD?

I offer two different types of CD. The CD that is included with all the wedding photography packages is a Standard Photo CD. It includes all images of your wedding day at standard quality. This will be suitable for personal printing and is ideal for you to use with your PC, Laptop or TV.
(usually 1000px x 800px approx)

You can also order a High Res Photo CD for £190 which includes all your photographs in their highest quality. Perfect for enlargement printing, canvas and crystal clear prints. Recommended for any prints larger than 7x5.


The wedding photography packages are great but I want something specific?

You can email me or call me to arrange a consultation and we can talk about exactly what you need. I can cater for most special requirements but as always I can create a custom photography quote for your particular needs. The packages on the website are a guide and if you need something specific then simply let me know.


What deposit do I need?

For all wedding photography packages the booking fee is £250 or 30% (whichever is greater) of your total package price. This booking fee is non refundable and is taken to secure the date of your wedding and confirm your booking.

The rest of the payment is due 10 weeks before the wedding at the latest. You can pay by installments or in one lump sum, it's entirely up to you.

Special payment arrangements can be made for bookings made with short notice. I accept cash payments, major debit and credit cards through Paypal and I also accept cheques.


How does your cancellation policy work?

All cancellations must be done in writing. If for some reason you need to cancel your booking I will offer to cover your wedding at an alternate date if available. I cannot guarantee availability for any rescheduled wedding dates but I will do my best where possible. I recommend you take out insurance for your wedding to cover possible costs or outstanding payments if you have to make a cancellation. All outstanding payments must be made within 28 days of your cancellation.

If you cancel your booking 12 months & over
0% of the remaining balance will be due

If you cancel your booking 6 - 11 months
50% of the remaining balance will be due

If you cancel your booking under 6 months
Full remaining balance will be due

How many photos can I get for a 1 hour session

Generally speaking for a one hour session I can capture up to 50 high quality images for you to choose from. This can vary slightly depending on what type of shoot it is. With Children photography sessions it is more likely to be up to 30 high quality images for each hour session.

Do I get a CD with my photographs on when I book a session?

You can purchase a CD with all your photographs from the shoot separatley. Prices start from just £50 for a standard photo disc.

You do receive all your photograph proofs which will be available in a private online gallery for you to view and share with friends and family. All other prints, frames and canvas are sold separatley or a package can be created depending on what you want. Contact me with your requirements.

How does your cancellation policy work?

All cancellation must be done in writing. No refunds can be given for cancellation but alternative dates can be arranged.

You will receive a full refund or an alternative date for the photography session in the unlikely event that the photographer can't make it to the session.

How many photo's do I get?

For all Event Photography bookings I provide a CD with up to 5 photographs. More photographs, prints, and canvas prints will be available to purchase separatley. All supplied photographs are on a standard photo disc which is suitable for personal printing and is ideal for use with a PC, Laptop or TV. (usually 1000px x 800px approx)

Are travel costs included?

Travel costs are not factored into the price on the website. Each photogrpahy job is different and I will arrange travel expenses with you before you confirm your booking.

How Many Photos Will I Get With A 4 Hour Photo Booth Hire?

In a four hour slot we usually capture between 100 and 200 photographs but it depends on how many people are at your event. We can capture much more if needed.
